So you have a spare bedroom that is pretty much going to waste because it’s been unused for sometime? If so, people in that situation commonly turn that spare bedroom into some kind of office space. This essentially makes a room in your house that was nonfunctional into a fully functional office suite. This office can be a sanctuary for you when you come home and a place for you to escape. The last thing to definitely consider changing in the former bedroom is the lighting. If we have a home office we need it to be well-equipped with lights. Odds are if this was formerly a bedroom there maybe some kind of ceiling fan, but probably most of the light came via lamps that were plugged into the wall. If you want to get really unique you can add track lighting or some other kind of unique lighting that will illuminate the room and promote your creativity.
